We had a really nice stay for a second night due to bad weather on our road trip.

The location was stunning and close to places we visited. We had a decent sized and big room.

The view from the hotel was stunning, with untouched nature surrounding the area. It provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities provided. the well-equipped kitchen was a great advantage, allowing us to prepare our own meals at our convenience.

The Wi-Fi signal was quite weak in our room, and we had to go upstairs to use it. As a senior, I found the stairs a bit steep and inconvenient.

We had a great experience at Hafnarnes! the host was flexible and accommodating, even changing our room upon request. the availability of late check-in was convenient, as the host had left keys and a note for us. the rooms and common areas were clean, and we appreciated the Icelandic tradition of removing shoes upon entrance. the location, although a bit outside of town, offered beautiful views of the surrounding area. the upstairs dining area was spacious and had fantastic views. We also enjoyed seeing the chickens and horses on the property. it was a lovely and enjoyable stay. Cons: Not easy to find.

The host was super nice and provided helpful information and maps. the location is quiet and comfortable, allowing us to see the northern lights. the beds were comfy and the WiFi was good. the kitchen facilities were useful, and the free coffee was tasty. the toilets and shower facilities were excellent. the room had a superb view of the sunset. Great for animal lovers, with a 16-year-old dog and a 20-year-old cat on the premises.

Hafnarnes Hofn is perfectly located near the town center, offering easy access to both the beautiful nature of the surrounding farm and the glacier. The rooms are clean and cozy, providing a comfortable stay for guests. The bathrooms are well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant experience. The friendly and welcoming staff go above and beyond to provide excellent service, offering valuable recommendations for local attractions and even suggesting hidden gems like nearby hot springs. Additionally, the well-equipped kitchen and spacious dining area are great for socializing and enjoying a cup of coffee.

The soundproofing could be improved as noise from other rooms may be audible.

We stayed at Hafnarnes in Hofn for one night during our trip round the ring road. The location was beautiful and quiet, perfect for a peaceful stopover. The interior of the hotel was modern and nicely remodeled, a pleasant surprise compared to the exterior. The kitchen and dining area were fantastic, allowing us to self cater and save on costs. The friendly cats and beautiful horses added a lovely touch to our stay.

hofn was great, but hafnarnes made it even better! cozy rooms with a nice view, well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, and a super friendly host. overall, a wonderful experience.

One bathroom was not enough.

It is conveniently located near the town centre of Höfn, making it easily accessible. the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, with large windows allowing plenty of natural light. the owner is friendly and helpful, ensuring quality service. Guests can enjoy the facilities such as a coffee maker and washing machine, adding convenience to their stay.

There were some issues with the bathrooms, as mentioned in one of the reviews. One of the restrooms became blocked, causing inconvenience for the guests.
